Note: Upcoming changes to monetary aggregates

Effective 23 February 2007 a number of monetary aggregate time series and their components will be terminated and replaced in some cases with alternative data. Learn more.

Note: Discontinued series

The C-6 index and the Monetary Conditions Index (MCI) have been discontinued effective December 31, 2006. The Bank has not used the MCI as an input into its monetary policy decisions for some time.

Daily update schedule

Daily-frequency data series are normally updated each Monday through Friday at the following times:

Noon exchange rates:
12:15 - 12:30 ET
Closing exchange rates:
16:10 ET - 16:30 ET
Interest rates:
12:15 ET - 12:30 ET
Bonds yields:
10:30 ET - 11:00 ET
Treasury bills:
09:30 ET - 10:00 ET
S&P/TSX Composite Index:
12:15 ET - 12:30 ET
