CANADA’S NEW GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES FIRST PHASE OF FOREIGN CREDENTIALS REFERRAL OFFICE

The first phase of the Foreign Credentials Referral Office was launched by the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration. The Office is designed to help internationally trained individuals who plan to work in Canada get their credentials assessed and recognized more quickly.

Renew your Permanent Resident CardRENEW YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD

If you are a permanent resident and thinking of travelling outside Canada, you need a valid permanent resident card to return to Canada. The permanent resident card is valid for five years. Check the expiry date on your card and apply for a new one at least two months before you travel.
