Law Enforcement

WHAT WE DO Under agreement with the Federal Government, the RCMP act as the Provincial Police Force. The force provides police protection in all areas of the Province except Charlottetown, Summerside, Kensington, St. Eleanors and Borden-Carleton which have their own municipal police forces. Legal Aid

WHAT WE DO This program has eight full-time staff lawyers. They provide representation in family and criminal law to clients who, for financial reasons, would be unable to obtain essential legal services from the private sector.
