Mail your application/proposal to the appropriate New Horizons for Seniors office.

You can save and fill in the application form on your computer, then print and submit it by regular mail. For help, please contact us.

If an organization has an elder abuse project, for which funding should they apply?

Elder abuse projects which address local community priorities and interests are eligible for Community Participation and Leadership funding. These one-time projects can receive up to a maximum of $25,000 grant funding for one year and are inspired, implemented and led by seniors.

Elder abuse projects which are national or regional in scope are eligible for Elder Abuse Awareness funding. These larger-scale projects address shared needs for information and awareness of elder abuse across Canada or across a significant region of the country such as a province or territory. Under the current Call for Proposals, national projects are eligible for contribution funding of up to $200,000 per year and regional projects are eligible for funding of up to $100,000 per year.
