Temporary Reduction of some Telephony Services in BC, Yukon, Alberta and Northwest Territories

To enable the Chief Firearms Offices in British Columbia/Yukon, and Alberta / Northwest Territories to deal with a current backlog of licence applications, telephone lines to these offices will be closed every Wednesday until the number of applications to be processed is at a normal level.

Telephone services for processing high-priority business transfers and urgent requests for authorizations to transport restricted and prohibited firearms will still be available. Businesses may also apply to transfer firearms online.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause some clients.
