Tour of the Museum

The Canada Agriculture Museum is living proof of the "Green Capital"; in fact Ottawa is the only world Capital that has a working farm at its heart. Canada's unique agricultural heritage is featured at the Canada Agriculture Museum where you can explore the sights and sounds of typical farm life.

  • NEW! Food for Health - Opens March 9, 2007

Food is a topic of endless discussion. It’s something we can’t do without and it can also be a source of great enjoyment. Is there anything as personal or as important as the foods we choose to eat each day? Our health depends to a large extent on what we eat. The new Food for Health exhibition takes a fresh look at the foods we eat and answers many of the questions Canadians have about their food choices, about food safety and about the role food plays in ensuring good health.

The new Food for Health exhibition offers a Web Presence with its Web Site at www.foodforhealth.ca

  • Tractors looks at the "farmer's" office in the field". This exhibition shows how the tractor has evolved from an unfamiliar oddity on Canadian farms to a commmonplace tool in less than 100 years.
