How about a night of total fun at the Canada Aviation Museum! All your students need to bring is a sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush, and a taste for extraordinary fun. We supply the adventure! They explore the Museum collection by flashlight, find out about aerodynamics through interactive demonstrations, practise on the controls of a Cessna 150, watch a film, sleep under the wings of an airplane, and more. The next morning your group will leave the Museum with a fantastic memory of a wonderful Night Flight! For out-of-town groups, Night Flight offers a fun, learning and affordable accommodating solution!
Night Flight is a program for groups of kids ages 5 to 18 and is available throughout the week. The program schedule and content can be tailored to suit your needs, including curriculum objectives and scouting and guiding badges.
Things to bring:
- a sleeping mat
- a pillow
- a toothbrush, toothpaste
- a flashlight!
- a sleeping bag
- pyjamas
- a towel and soap
- a smile!
Typical Schedule
Please note that the times can vary depending on your time of arrival and the activities may vary based on the age group and/or the season. Your own schedule will be set during our phone conversation the week prior to your visit.

- 7:00 Amazing Air! Workshop (Science)
- 8:00 At the controls of the Cessna 150 (Technology)
- 8:45 General Guided Visit of the Museum in the dark using flashlights (History)
- 9:45 Late night snack (milk and cookies) and movie (*)
- 10:30 Lights out
- 7:00 Lights on and clean-up
- 7:30 Breakfast (*)
- 9:00 Departure

Format: Interactive guided tour and workshop
Cost: $24 per student, $11 per accompanying adult
Minimum fee: $450 per group (maximum 35 participants)
Duration: 6 p.m. to 9 a.m.
