Canada and the World in Flight
Students learn how aviation has profoundly influenced Canada’s evolution as a country in the twentieth century. Classes are guided through Canadian participation in world events to see how our nation has made significant pioneering contributions to the field of aviation. Students also explore the use of aircraft in Canada to meet the needs and demands of its citizens, and how this has had an impact on the building of the nation.

General Guided Tour
Let our energetic guides take your students on a fascinating exploration through time! The Museum’s superb collection is brought to life with a first-class guided tour using anecdotes, human stories and incredible tales of adventure. Your students will be flying high! Tours are adapted to the age of the students.

Duration: 75 minutes
Self Guided Tour
Groups wishing to visit the Museum in an unstructured format are encouraged to divide students into small groups accompanied by adults. A scavenger hunt is available for some grades upon request during the registration process.
Cost: $2.25 per student ($33.75 minimum group fee)
Duration: Please allow one to two hours for your visit.
Night FlightSleepover Program—Ages 5 to 18
How about a night of total fun at the Canada Aviation Museum! All your students need to bring is a sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush, and a taste for extraordinary fun. We supply the adventure! They explore the Museum collection by flashlight, find out about aerodynamics through interactive demonstrations, practise on the controls of a Cessna 150, watch a film, sleep “under” the wings of an airplane, and more. The next morning your group will leave the Museum with a fantastic memory of a wonderful Night Flight! For out-of-town groups, Night Flight offers a fun, educational, and affordable accommodation solution!
Night Flight is a program for groups of kids ages 5 to 18 and is available throughout the week. The program schedule and content can be tailored to suit your needs, including curriculum objectives and scouting and guiding badges.

From the Ground Up! allows your group to enjoy the same activities and workshops as Night Flight without having the participants sleep over. Just like Night Flight, this program can be tailored to suit your needs, including curriculum objectives and scouting and guiding badges.
