Career Opportunities

From time to time employment opportunities become available (see Job Postings housed on our corporate website) at the Canada Science and Technology Museum Corporation. The Corporation is comprised of three museums, the Canada Science and Technology Museum, the Canada Agriculture Museum and the Canada Aviation Museum as well as Corporate divisions.

Employment opportunities vary in nature; for example:

Work Terms

In addition, the Corporation provides support to student employment through two programs:

Summer Student Employment Program

This program is intended for students who are to be in full-time attendance at an educational institution recognized by a Ministry of Education. Such employment opportunities extend from April through September each year. Applications can be forwarded to the above addresses beginning in the month of February.

Student Cooperative Placement Program

There are some opportunities for students who must complete work terms as part of their program of studies. These opportunities exist in fields of study related to museology, business administration, finance, security, and other fields appropriate to the Corporation’s business. Students must begin by registering with their Co-op program coordinator on campus.
