September 25th, 2006 - Last Thursday, Canada’s prime minister told the General Assembly that its mission in Afghanistan was the U-N’s largest and special political mission. Stephen Harper also said it was Canada’s mission. He also called it the biggest test because the UN’s collective will and credibility are being judged. That is also true of the rest of Stephen Harper’s foreign policy. more »
