Classic Air Rallye Media Launch on August 23, 2007

Ottawa—Flightworks Inc.is hosting and inviting you to an event preview for members of the Media at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 23 at the Canada Aviation Museum, showcasing the Classic Air Rallye taking place on August 25 and 26. Several examples of vintage aircraft from the golden era of aviation will be on hand, and available for media flights. Photo opportunities will also include the Supermarine Spitfire, piloted by Vintage Wings of Canada founder, Michael Potter. Please confirm interest as soon as possible.

The 2nd Annual Classic Air Rallye promises to be an exciting festival of flight with over 80 aircraft confirmed to appear - flying past in the air and on static display. Press kits will be available at the event on August 23rd, or for the most complete information regarding the Rallye and its programs visit www.flightworks.ca.

Flightworks is a local non-profit group, pleased to be sharing the common goal of promoting aviation awareness in the region with our major partners Vintage Wings of Canada and the Canada Aviation Museum. The Canada Aviation Museum is located at the intersection of the Aviation and Rockcliffe Parkways in Ottawa.
