This "Help" page was designed to let you know what's behind some of the buttons contained in the top and left-hand navigation bars that are located on each page within the GoC Web site. It also provides some helpful hints to make your visit to our Web site more productive. Our Web site can also provide you with fully bilingual online help support. Select Help from the toolbar in any window and information about the window is displayed. You can also click on located beside Need Help? in the upper right hand corner of the window. Our fully bilingual Customer Service information officers are available by phone during the hours you see detailed in Need Help?. Our hours of operation, telephone number and email address are detailed below in Customer Service. If you've experienced difficulties while browsing or navigating the GoC site, feel free to call our Customer Service.
Navigating or browsing our site is easy because of the top and left side navigation bars and the convenient buttons on each page. When you place your cursor over one of the red buttons in the top navigation bar, a text box is displayed showing the name of that button. You can click on any one of the red buttons in the navigation bar to go to the page that it represents. You can also click on any topic in the left side navigation bar to move quickly to the page on which that topic appears.

The Weekly Checklist is produced each week by the Depository Services Program (DSP). Every Checklist includes a listing of book and serial titles which have been released during the week by the Parliament of Canada, federal departments, and Statistics Canada. Depository institutions use the Checklist to order publications for their collections, but non-depository institutions will discover that the Checklist provides an excellent guide to free and priced Canadian government documents. Only a registered Depository can order from the weekly checklist. Click on Weekly Checklist to view the publications that have been added to the catalogue a particular week.
Click on Locate a Bookstore to find the bookstore conveniently located closest to you. Many bookstores will either carry or take orders for Government of Canada publications.
