About Us

Audit and EvaluationNational Research Council (NRC) carries out audits and evaluations of its institutes, programs and initiatives, led by a team of well-qualified professionals. Audits help determine value-for-money and compliance with policies and procedures (government-wide and NRC) among NRC institutes, programs and initiatives. Evaluations help us understand the relevance, success and cost-effectiveness of NRC institutes, programs and initiatives. The results of this work provide NRC Senior Management with recommendations for improvements, used in strategic planning, performance and risk management. Summaries of recent audit and evaluation reports are listed below. Complete copies of each report can be obtained by contacting the Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator. NRC's Report on Plans and Priorities and Departmental Performance Report can be obtained in the Corporate Publications section. 2006-2007
