Previous-year forms and publications

Many of our forms and guides are frequently updated -- sometimes every year -- because of important differences that are specific to a given year.

Most common reasons to use a previous year form or publication:

  • To file an original tax return for a previous year; or
  • To ask for an adjustment to a previous-year's tax return that you've already filed.

You can access a list of tax packages for all years to get the return, guide, and related forms and schedules for a previous tax year. You can also access an alphabetical list to search for other prior-year forms and publications by document name, or a numeric list to search by reference number (e.g., T2, T4).

If the form or publication for the year you need is not on the list, use the current version.
