By Road, from the HALIFAX International Airport

  1. Drive towards the airport EXIT

  2. Take the HALIFAX EXIT onto HIGHWAY 102

  3. Drive approximately 10 km and take the DARTMOUTH SOUTH via BRIDGES EXIT onto HIGHWAY 118

  4. Continue on HIGHWAY 118, which becomes WOODLAND AVE 

  5. From WOODLAND AVE, turn LEFT on VICTORIA RD

  6. Turn RIGHT on SCHOOL ST

  7. Bear RIGHT on NANTUCKET AVE

  8. Continue on ANGUS L. MACDONALD BRIDGE straight onto NORTH ST. Be sure to have $0.75 in change for BRIDGE toll. Otherwise, stop at an open booth on BRIDGE for change

  9. Continue straight on NORTH ST until you reach the traffic lights on OXFORD ST

  10. Turn LEFT on OXFORD ST; NRC-IMB is approximately 1.5 km on LEFT-hand side

Approximate Travel Time: 30 mins  Approximate Distance: 35 km

By Road, from the Alternative Route

  1. Drive towards the airport EXIT

  2. Take the HALIFAX EXIT onto HIGHWAY 102

  3. Drive approximately 10 km and take the BEDFORD EXIT, continuing on HIGHWAY 102

  4. Drive on HIGHWAY 102, approximately 30 km, until you reach the traffic lights at BAYERS RD and CONNAUGHT AVE

  5. Turn RIGHT on CONNAUGHT AVE

  6. Continue to intersection of CONNAUGHT AVE and JUBILEE RD

  7. Turn LEFT on JUBILEE RD

  8. Turn RIGHT on OXFORD ST

  9. Go straight at the traffic lights; NRC-IMB is on the LEFT hand side

By Road, from Via Rail/Acadian Bus Lines

  1. Start on HOLLIS ST

  2. Turn RIGHT on SOUTH ST

  3. Turn RIGHT on OXFORD ST; NRC-IMB is on the RIGHT-hand side
