Creation of Child Care Spaces

Human Resources and Social Development Canada held consultations on the Child Care Spaces Initiative with provincial and territorial governments, employers, industry representatives, community groups and child care organizations across Canada in the summer and fall of 2006.

The summary of the report is entitled, What We’ve Heard. . .Summary of Consultations on the Child Care Spaces Initiative.

The creation of child care spaces is the second element of the Universal Child Care Plan, which also includes the Universal Child Care Benefit.
