Workplace accidents happen despite best practices and best efforts, and employees need income protection while they are recovering from their injuries. The Labour Program administers the Government Employees’ Compensation Act, which provides benefits for injured federal government employees. Refer to this section if you are a federal public servant who has been injured on the job. If you have lost a family member who was a federal public servant, killed on the job or who died because of an occupational disease, we can help you too.
