Feedback Instruments & Services

360°

For several years now, the Personnel Psychology Centre has provided 360° feedback instruments and services to federal government departments, agencies and organizations. These services are specially designed to promote professional development among managers at all levels and to facilitate the development of federal public sector organizations.

The 360° services we offer go beyond a simple questionnaire and compilation of results summarizing the current skills individuals possess. Rather, our 360° feedback instruments and services consist of a process whereby managers interested in development compare their own assessment of their leadership competencies with the way they are viewed by other significant persons, such as their superior, peers, staff, etc. The process begins with the assessment itself, but then continues with the creation of a development plan and follow-up measures suited to the needs of managers. The process involves several types of meetings with specialists from the Personnel Psychology Centre at various key points in the process. When this individual process is undertaken with several managers throughout an organization, our specialists can suggest to a senior manager, human resources specialist or organizational development specialist consultation services aimed at setting strategic human resources management objectives based on a summary of the results obtained by all managers.
