Free Public General Information Sessions
These general seminars provide a general overview of the SR&ED program, explaining the program's eligibility criteria, what expenditures are eligible, and how to file an investment tax credit claim. These seminars are intended for claimants who are new to the program or are planning on filing a claim, and are suitable for an audience of both technical and financial staff. There is no charge to attend, however pre-registration is required.

Free Public Seminar on SR&ED Financial Issues
This half-day seminar is intended for financial or accounting staff already familiar with the basics of the SR&ED program, or anyone else who will be completing a T661 form and Schedule T2SCH31. Attendees should have a grasp of basic accounting principles and will be taken through the completion of a T661 Form, calculation of Investment Tax Credits and the Ontario Innovation Tax Credit. There is no charge to attend, however pre-registration is required as seating is limited.

Software Seminar - Free Public Seminar on SR&ED Issues Specific to the Software Sector
This joint Industry/CRA software workshop in Ottawa is a specialized full day workshop for all SR&ED stakeholders who are involved in the software and information technology industry. The workshop will include presentations, a panel discussion, and a case study. The focus will be on issues affecting SR&ED claims in the software and information technology sector. This workshop is meant for an audience familiar with the SR&ED program. If you wish to attend, but are unfamiliar with the program, it is strongly recommended that you first attend one of the general seminars. There is no charge to attend, however pre-registration is required as seating is limited.
