CISTI Price List for Products and Services 2007-2008
Below is the revised Price List for the products and services offered by CISTI. These updated prices will take effect April 1, 2007.
CISTI is committed to providing superior client service, achieving rapid turnaround times and meeting users' needs at the lowest cost possible. That's why we have combined our Link and Global service levels to provide you with the best features of both! This new Extended Supply Service carries no mandatory service fees, and increases the success rate in filling orders from outside of our own collection.
Another new offering is a CISTI Source Basic Site License. No individual user account set-up is required. IP authenticated users will get direct access to article searching and ordering.
Unique, affordable and easy – three words that describe CISTI's new eBook Loans service, offered in partnership with MyiLibrary. Enjoy instant access to thousands of eBooks from major scholarly publishers for a four-week loan for only $25 US. No special reader is required – just an e-mail address and a Web browser.

CISTI's Link and Global service levels have been combined to provide you with the best features of both! This means no more mandatory service fees, and an increased success rate in filling orders from outside of our own collection. Now, for only $22* per copy plus copyright fees and $50 per book, we will conduct a worldwide search to fill your order. Most orders will be filled within 10 working days, however searches will continue until the order is filled, or up to 20 working days.
If the total price is higher than $50, we will contact you for authorization. |

CISTI has partnered with MyiLibrary to offer eBook Loans, a new and affordable service to access eBook content at the desktop. Enjoy instant access to thousands of eBooks from major scholarly publishers.
It's easy - All you need is an e-mail address and a Web browser! A simple click on the "Borrow this eBook" button in the CISTI Catalogue (http://cat.cisti-icist.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca/search) will take you to the MyiLibrary site. You also have the option to order books for yourself, or have the URL delivered to another end user!
And it's affordable - For only US$25, receive immediate access to your eBook through a URL sent to you via email. There is no need to return a borrowed eBook, as the link will automatically expire after 30 days.

Caps on Account now available

You can now set a limit on the number of orders or the dollar amount that can be spent on your CISTI document delivery account.

Options include Mastercard, VISA, Amex, or monthly billing. CISTI also participates in OCLC IFM billing. Detailed invoices are sent monthly. Prices are subject to change. |
