Please Note: Replacement of SOI with GoCM

- create, download or print reports on items selected for order by you or your department?

The Government of Canada Marketplace (GoCM), launched in December 2006, is an on-line tool that provides employees easy access to standing offers, supply arrangements, and detailed line item information for an increasing number of goods and services.

The GoCM will soon be the government's single point of electronic acces to all standing offers, supply arrangements and their respective goods and services. You can use GoCM to:
- search for standing offers and supply arrangements;
- compare goods and services that are available at the line item level;
- create "shopping carts" which can be saved for reuse;
- create and print purchase orders; and
- run detailed reports on what was selected for order, by whom, for whom, and at what price.

All information available through the Standing Offer Index (SOI) is available through the GoCM. Visit the GoCM today! Please note that as of the Fall 2007 or early Winter the SOI will no longer be available to users.

Please Note: SOI Integration into GoCM

The launch of the new Government of Canada Marketplace (GoCM) is available as of December 18, 2006. Initially you will be able to access Standing Offers and Supply Arrangements for the ten Mandatory Standing Offer Categories from both locations, the GoCM and Standing Offer Index (SOI). Access to non-mandatory commodities will continue to be available through the SOI until further notice.

The Home Page has been updated and provides new buttons for accessing a Glossary of Terms and Related Links.

In addition to changes to the Search Page, the SOI site now allows the user to select/specify and, if desired, save a wider variety of search criteria in their searches, such as:

• Department(s) / Agency(ies)
• Area(s) available for use (i.e. delivery point(s)
• Mandatory Commodity Group(s)
• Supplier Name Search

Two new options are available "Save Search Criteria" button and "Clear" button:

" Save Search Criteria" button: The "Save Search Criteria" function 'saves' all the latest search criteria you have entered during your most recent SOI session.

"Clear" button: The "Clear" function will remove all (i.e. from all search criteria pick menus) of your last saved search criteria any time it is used. Also, it will set the Mandatory Commodity Groups pick list Menu selection to the default value "None".

The SOI site has been updated and enhanced to serve you better. We hope you like the changes.
