This section provides information on Requests for Applications for which the deadline has passed. It includes the text of all the Closed Requests for Applications (RFAs) as well as their status, including the number of applications received, the outcome of the review stages and, where applicable, links to the funded projects, workshops, seminars and conferences.

• Request for Applications for Primary Research Projects - (RFA 025) Trends In Risk Management
  
  Ten applications were received on December 14, 2005. One was ruled ineligible by the Health Policy Research Program staff and nine were reviewed by a policy review panel. Two were rejected and seven are still under consideration.
  
  
• Request for Applications for Synthesis Research Projects - (RFA 024) Health Impact of Climate Change Policies and Programs Related to Greenhouse Gas Emission Mitigation Measures and Technologies
  
  Two applications were received on September 7, 2005 and are currently being reviewed.
  
  
• Request for Applications for Primary Research Projects - (RFA 023)
  Preparing the Health Sector for the Health Impacts of Climate Change
  
  Sixteen applications were received on September 7, 2005 . Five were ruled ineligible by the Health Policy Research Program staff. Eleven are still under consideration.
  
  
• Request for Applications for Primary Research Projects Innovation in The Health System: eHealth - (RFA 022)
  
  Thirteen applications were received on May 4, 2005 and were reviewed by a policy review committee; two were ruled ineligible. Eleven were reviewed by the policy and scientific review panel, four were rejected, and seven are still under consideration.
  
  
• Healthy Communities: Workplace Health Policies and Practices - Request for Proposals for Primary Research (RFP-021)
  
  Nine applications were received on January 27, 2005 and were reviewed by a scientific and policy review committee. Five were rejected and one is still under consideration. Three projects have been funded. Funded projects
  
  
• International Cooperation in Health Regulation - (RFA-020) Request for Proposals for Primary Research (Posted August 19, 2004)
  
  Three applications were received on November 25, 2004. Two were ruled ineligible by HPRP staff and one was reviewed by a scientific and policy review committee and was not recommended.
  
  
• Request for Letters of Intent (RFLOI-019) for Synthesis Research - Regulation in a Changing World (Posted December 16, 2003)
  
  Thirteen letters of intent were received on March 1, 2004. Ten were reviewed by a policy review committee and were invited to submit full proposals. Seven full proposals were received on June 3, 2004. One application was withdrawn by the applicant. Six proposals were reviewed by the scientific and policy review committee.   Five applications were received on January 14, 2004 and were reviewed by a scientific and policy review committee. Three were recommended for funding and are currently being funded. Funded Projects
  
  
• Request for Letters of Intent (RFLOI -016) for Secondary Research On Women's Health Indicators (Posted September 19, 2003)
  
  Eighteen letters of Intent were received on November 10, 2003, two were ruled ineligible by HPRP staff; sixteen were reviewed by a policy review committee ; and nine were invited to submit full proposals. Two applicants decided not to submit full proposals. Seven full proposals were reviewed by the scientific and policy review committee. Five were rejected and two are currently being funded. • Requests for Proposals (RFP-015) Quality Workplaces for Health Professionals: Research on Knowledge Utilization (Posted March 4, 2003)
  
  Thirteen letters of intent were received on May 7, 2003, two were ruled ineligible by HPRP staff and eleven were reviewed by a policy review committee and were invited to submit full proposals for September 16, 2003.   Eleven applications were received on April 30, 2003, were reviewed by a policy review committee; two applications that received low policy impact ratings were not retained for further review.   Eight applications were received on March 5, 2003. One was ruled ineligible by HPRP staff, seven were reviewed by a departmental policy review committee which rated one as low policy impact. Five were reviewed by a scientific and policy review committee and three were recommended for funding. (Two projects are currently being funded and one application was withdrawn by the applicant).
