The July issue of the Canadian Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology is a special issue presenting selected papers from Recent Advances in Asthma Research, an international symposium held in November 2006 in St. John’s, Antigua.

Two "green journals," the Journal of Environmental Engineering and Science and Environmental Reviews, will return to their environmental roots in 2008 by publishing exclusively on electronic media. Clients will receive a 20% bundled discount when they subscribe to both journals.
An oil exploration company found something much rarer when taking core samples in Alberta. When split open, the core sample revealed the fossil of a fish from the Cretaceous period, 96 million years ago. The newly discovered fossil fish appears in the June 2007 issue of the Canadian Journal of Earth Sciences.
