Instructions
Please complete the Request and Agreement for PSC Test Material form and ensure it is signed by the responsible officer. Please fax it to the number indicated on the form.

Conditions of Service

Use of the PSC test material requested is subject to full compliance with the conditions outlined below:

  1. The ONLY authorized use of the tests ordered is for the selection process indicated on the Request and Agreement for PSC Test Material form.
  2. A statement of qualifications is to be provided when ordering ln-Basket exercises, Written Communication tests (WCT and WCPT), Situational Judgement Test (SJT) and Simulations exercises. The qualifications assessed by the test(s) are to be reflected in the statement of qualifications.
  3. When ordering test material for which there is a cost [ln-Basket, Simulations, Written Communication tests (WCT or WCPT), and the Situational Judgement test], section 4 must be completed.
  4. Any costs associated with information and training sessions will be the responsibility of the user.
  5. It is a requirement of the PSC that the responsible officer order and use the tests in accordance with the test publications and Consultation Services of the PPC, including the relevant selection standards.
  6. Testing material must be secured by the department in a locked container appropriate for PROTECTED B material.
  7. All tests material must be returned immediately after use, or at the latest, within fourteen (14) calendar days after the administration date.
  8. For shipping, the test material must be double-wrapped, marked PROTECTED on the inner envelope, and returned with the address clearly indicated on all outer envelopes.

The test material must be shipped using a method whereby the materials can be reliably tracked (i.e. Priority Post via Canada Post or the PSC priority bag, bonded courier). Regular post and regular inter-departmental mail are NOT permissible.

  9. The PSC must be contacted immediately in the event of a complaint against any staffing process that involves these tests. The PSC will provide assistance in the process of resolving the complaint but any associated costs will be the responsibility of the department.
