Statement on Personal Information Protection

Protection of personal information is an information management priority for the Public Service Commission.

Please note that certain statistical information obtained from this tool is drawn from personal information (age, first official language and gender). The PSC is committed to providing every reasonable effort to ensure that no personal information is disclosed that would permit the identification of the person with whom the information is associated.

The Appointments Information and Analysis Directorate (AIAD) applies certain measures to assure confidentiality of personal information. This tool's multi-dimensional statistical tables may include small numbers that could lead to the identification of a person. But, the data is not subject to suppression or rounding of values. This information is protected and should be used in accordance with the policies and regulations pertaining to the protection of personal information.
