• iiii = ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) of the Journal. Each title has two ISSNs; one for the print edition and one for electronic. Either will result in a functional link. See below for a list of valid ISSNs
• vvvv = volume number
• ssss = issue number (This field is optional except for Supplements. For Supplements, use e.g. S1.)
• pppp = start page
• ab=y is an optional parameter which will direct you to the publicly available abstract, rather than the fulltext
