MyiLibrary eBook Loan ServiceCISTI, in partnership with MyiLibrary, is offering a new service that makes it possible for you to borrow any of tens of thousands of eBooks via the CISTI Catalogue. What if I'm an NRC staff? Please see the NRC MyiLibrary eBook Loans FAQ. What are eBook loans? When you borrow a MyiLibrary eBook, you will be able to access a book in digital format (i.e. a MyiLibrary eBook) through a URL you will receive via e-mail. The cost of a four-week eBook loan is $US25. Payment is made online using a credit card. How can I order a MyiLibrary eBook?Once you have searched the catalogue and found the eBook you are looking for, click on the "Borrow this eBook" button in the upper right hand corner. You will be brought to the 'eBook Loans' site, powered by MyiLibrary. If you are a first time user, you will be asked to register. When your registration is confirmed, or if you have previously registered, you will see a page displaying the requested MyiLibrary eBook information and you will be asked if you want to complete your e-book loan. How do I pay for a MyiLibrary eBook? If you choose to continue, you will be taken to a secure payment page, where you will be asked for credit card information. You, or the end user you have identified, will receive the URL to the requested book via e-mail when your payment is confirmed. How do I Receive my MyiLibrary eBook?A URL link providing access to the eBook can be sent to any email address. If you wish to receive the eBook yourself, you must type in your own email address. Alternatively, if you are loaning the eBook on behalf of someone else, you must type in their email address. Once payment is confirmed, the email with the URL to access the title will be sent to the email address you have chosen to receive the loan. How do I return a borrowed eBook? There is no need to return a borrowed eBook. The link will automatically expire after 30 days. Can I print as much of the book as I want? The number of pages that you can print depends on the standard copyright restrictions imposed on that title by the publisher. What do I do if I have a problem? You can check the MyiLibrary Help page or, if the answer to your question is not there, contact the MyiLibrary Help Desk at support@Myilibrary.com and a member of the MyiLibrary team will contact you.
