All the information is encrypted, and it is decrypted only when you open the statement on a computer. The communication between the service provider, the financial institution, and you will be made using a secure protocol (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). This protocol protects the integrity of the message and cannot be seen by unauthorized individuals.
The safest version of SSL is 128-bit encryption (Version 3). This version provides digital certificate authentication of you, and will be used by the service provider, us, and the financial institution. You need Version 3 to warranty the same security level.
Note
The bank will not be able to see your statement.
