ProQuest Services

ProQuest provides universities with a MARC catalogue record for each thesis or dissertation submitted by that institution. To arrange for this service please contact one of the following people by e-mail at ProQuest:

ProQuest also provides each participating university with free online access to Adobe PDF files of each thesis submitted by that institution. Each university must make arrangements for this service directly with ProQuest. Information on how to do this can by found by going to www.proquest.com/products_pq/descriptions/dandt.shtml.

ProQuest Subject Codes

ProQuest requires students to assign a subject code to their theses. Universities should ensure that students complete the form. It should then be sent to ProQuest with the Theses Non-Exclusive License. Students requiring assistance choosing a subject code or keywords should call ProQuest toll-free at 1-800-521-0600 and ask for ext. 4883 for social sciences and humanities or ext. 4881 for sciences and engineering.
