  1. How do I contact the local news departments with a news tip?

    If you've got a news tip, please call (604) 662-NEWS (6397). Or phone the CBC TV News assignment desk at (604) 662-6801 for TV news, or the assignment desk of CBC Radio One Newsroom at (604) 662-6900 for radio news.

  2. How do I suggest an idea or pose a question to a local show?

    Go to the Programs page, and follow the link to the show. Look for the "Contact" link for that show in the left-hand side of the show's page.

  3. How do I suggest an idea or pose a question to a national show?

    Go to Programs A-Z, look for the listing for that show, then follow the link to the website for that show. Look for the "Contact Us" section of the site.

  4. How can I find out the name of the song I just heard on CBC Radio?

    This information can be found on the CBC.ca FAQ page.

  5. Can I get transcripts, tapes, CDs, and/or DVDs of programs?

    Transcripts, tapes, CDs, and/or DVDs of our program are available for a fee at Cision Canada. Call 1-800-665-9566, and the local number is 604-669-0338. Please provide Cision with the program name, the time the interview ran (accurate to the hour) and the date. Note: there is a charge.
