Big Man Coming Down the Road by Brad SmithBig Man Coming Down the Road (Penguin) is a down-home story about the power of family, loyalty and how a dead man can change lives and keep surprising folks — even from the grave. The Globe and Mail named it one of the top 100 books of the year when it was published in 2007.

Author Brad Smith's other novels include Busted Flush, All Hat and One Eyed-Jacks, which was nominated for the Dashiell Hammett Prize and the Arthur Ellis Award. Born and raised in rural southern Ontario, he still makes his home in the region.
