This summer, Saskatoon's premier outdoor theatre festival presents two more fantastic plays from the great bard's canon:  The Merchant of Venice - Shakespeare's unique blending of comedy and tragedy that is certain to enthrall - plays in repertory with the hilarious and fast-paced comedy, The Merry Wives of Windsor.

 


CBC Radio One's Jillian Pavlin received the RTNDA's Dave Rogers Award for long feature coverage for Baby Emily, a story about a child born with an incredibly rare genetic disorder.

CBC Radio One's Abby Schneider was named the recipient of the Adrienne Clarkson Award for Diversity for Grandmas in Action, a story about a group of First Nations grandmothers who set up a centre in Regina's North Central neighbourhood.

The Gordon Sinclair Award for Live Special Events was presented to Leisha Grebinski for Student Newsday, programming which provided Saskatchewan's youth the opportunity to tell stories from their point of view.
