Cadets in Inuvik
The Royal Canadian Army Cadets were in Inuvik on January 23 and 24 for a skills competition.
About 40 cadets from Inuvik, Fort Simpson, Norman Wells and Whitehorse competed in air-rifle shooting, drill and a contest to see which team could most quickly install a five-person arctic tent.
The Inuvik cadets were selected as the winners, and will be travelling to Yellowknife for the final competition, which happens on February 12 and 13.
