Leamington tornado: See your photos of the storm damage

Environment Canada has confirmed it was a tornado, probably an F1, that tore through Essex County in southwestern Ontario early Sunday morning.

People in Leamington, Ont., launched a massive cleanup as the town remained under a state of emergency Monday.

Mayor John Adams estimates damages are in the millions of dollars, and has said the town will appeal to the provincial government for emergency aid.

Local residents sent in photos of the destruction that uprooted trees, tore down power lines and caused structural devastation to many of the houses in the area. View their photos in the gallery above.
