Ontario Morning is the wake-up show for listeners in Southern Ontario beyond Toronto, from Sarnia in the west to Cornwall in the east, and north to Parry Sound and the Upper Ottawa Valley.

Our Host, Wei Chen

Known for her fearless interviewing and incredible rapport with guests, award-winning journalist Wei Chen has been a fixture on the television scene for most of her 20 years in the broadcast industry.

Wei Chen began her career at CFPL in London Ontario. Her experience includes stints with CHCH in Hamilton, Toronto One, and CBC TV in Calgary, Ottawa and Toronto. In her 10 years with CTV, Chen served as host of Canada AM Weekend, anchored CTV's 24-hour news channel, and spent seven seasons as an investigative journalist with W-FIVE, which earned her two Gemini nominations.

Chen was born in Taipei, Taiwan, arrived in Canada when she was three, and grew up in Hamilton. She lives in Toronto with her husband and daughter.
