RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds collect and deliver instant updates from your favorite websites to your operating system using an RSS reader. RSS feeds do not send messages to your email account.
To view RSS feeds on your computer, you will first need to find and set up an RSS reader.
There are numerous RSS readers available for free download or for purchase on the Internet.
To find an RSS reader, conduct a search for "RSS reader" in your favourite search engine.
Once you have downloaded an RSS reader, you can then subscribe to the RSS feeds from Library and Archives Canada.
Select any of the RSS feeds listed on this page under List of RSS feeds available from Library and Archives Canada, then copy and paste the URL into the field indicated in the reader.
The procedure could vary depending on the software you use, so please consult your RSS reader's instructions.
