MR. D, the breakout comedy that debuted to almost 1.3 million viewers, becoming the highest rated comedy premiere episode on CBC since the debut of Little Mosque on the Prairie, returns for a second season in January 2013.  Based on the stand-up act of comedian Gerry Dee, who was himself a private school teacher for nine years, MR. D centres on an under-qualified teacher trying to fake his way through a teaching job just as he fakes his way through life.

Mr. Duncan is entering his second year of teaching at the prestigious private school, Xavier Academy.  Unfortunately his teaching style hasn't gotten any better and his ego hasn't gotten any smaller. The staff and students of Xavier will be confused and entertained as they will once again become embroiled in Mr. D's antics throughout the school year.

MR. D stars Gerry Dee, a headline performer at Just for Laughs and a finalist on Last Comic Standing.  Starring alongside Gerry is Jonathan Torrens, Lauren Hammersley, Booth Savage, Bette McDonald, Naomi Snieckus, Darrin Rose, Mark Little and Wes Williams.

MR. D was created by Gerry Dee and Michael Volpe and is filmed in Halifax as a co-production of Topsail Productions and Gerard ADHD Entertainment.
