The aircraft were well laid out, representing a good range of both military and civil aircraft made in, or used by, Canada in the last 100 years. There were also other artefacts, including an example of the large manoeuvring arm (a kind of crane) used on the space shuttle - a large piece of machinery that had actually operated in... More

Star Wars exhibit was fun, although the focus on the social science behind personality development was a bit hokey. Best part of the exhibit was the artifacts from the films - props, costumes, model spaceships, art sketches. The notion of developing your own Star Wars character was a little bit forced. Why in a program co-designed by an aviation museum... More

Aviation Museums are sometimes ho-hum, but this one was "holy moly" fantastic. I loved it, and will definitely be going back. There was so much to see from Alexander Graham Bel's original kites to jets, and everything in between.

Informative displays, very well planned out. Some air museums end up being a little hodge podge but the flow and the information was just perfect. I was giddy as a schoolboy start to finish. Excellent place.

This Canadian Aviation museum is very well done. The progressive layout starting with the Silver Dart is well arranged historically also, starting with the first Silver Dart to the modern jet age. Good to see experienced volunteers walking around answering any questions we had and having the right answer. This is the biggest Aviation museum in Canada. The Western Canada... More

The focus here is more on the early days of flight so this is great for history buffs and children will really find this place exciting with lots to do. Parking is a bit expensive though.

Enjoyed our visit more than we expected. Aviation is interesting but not a passion. This was a lot of fun, and provided a great opportunity to see the history of flight up close. Boy, those early aviators had neither cushy seats or little to no protection. Wouldn't ever get on the scale of saftey standards required today. A brave breed... More

Canadian Aviation and Space museum has a great collection of aircraft from all different era's. I think one of he highlights would be the Lancaster Bomber. They also have added the Canada arm, which was used on the Space Shuttle. The really give you good access to the collection, you end up inches away from most of the aircraft. Definitely... More

Just going and seeing the Aviation and Space exhibits alone is worth the trip. Lots of aircraft from the past to the present. Displays, answer your question on a lot of aircraft. Star Wars exhibit is a add on and worth going to. This was good for all ages, from the young to the old. I am the envy of... More

The museum is in two parts and the first was the Star Wars Identities Show. Excellent with actually costumes and set design drawings, how they designed each character. Its a little pricey but worth it. You get to design your own Star wars character. The aviation museum was well laid out and informative with excellent displays. We didn't leave enough... More
