National Science and Technology Week

Canada's National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) is a celebration of the significance of Canada's science and technology history, the importance of science and technology in today's world, and Canada's ongoing role as a world leader in innovation. We are looking forward to celebrating National Science and Technology Week at all of the CSTMC Museums. Take time to celebrate with us. science.gc.ca

Build it with K'NEX

October 20th
Celebrate the importance of science and technology in aviation and space with a K'nex Build event from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Guided Tours

Daily at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Discover the Canada Aviation and Space Museum's superb collection. Follow the Walkway of Time and learn more about the story of our beautiful flying machines. Guided tours of the Museum begin under the Silver Dart, near the main entrance.

Ejection Seat Demonstrations

Daily at 1 p.m.
Learn how an ejection seat can save a pilot's life. Have a blast while listening to our enthusiastic guides as they describe the ups and downs of ejecting from a fighter jet! Sit in an authentic ejection seat and learn how pilots use this essential piece of equipment.

Cessna 150 Interpretation Centre

Daily from 10 - 10:30 a.m.; noon - 2 p.m. and 3:15 - 5 p.m.
Want the experience of flight but prefer to keep your feet on the ground? Here is your chance to sit at the controls of an aircraft without taking off! You can meet our friendly and knowledgeable staff who will assist you in boarding our Cessna 150 aircraft, and answer any questions you may have.

Opening hours of the Canada Aviation and Space Museum

Regular schedule: Wednesday to Monday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed Tuesdays except statutory and school holidays.
Closed Christmas Day. Open New Year’s Day.
Aviation and Rockcliffe Parkways.
