Helicopter Rides

Back in Spring 2011

Enjoy another type of flight experience over beautiful scenery, enlivened with informative observations of the surroundings by the pilot.

This is a great gift idea to mark a special occasion, celebrate an anniversary or just to experience a thrilling moment.

The Robinson R44

Starting in May and continuing until the fall colours blanket Canada’s Capital Region, visitors will be able to reserve a seat aboard a Robinson R44 helicopter. This light, four-seat, single-engined helicopter with an enclosed cabin has two rows of side-by-side seating for a pilot and three passengers, offering excellent visibility through the bubble canopy. Be sure to bring along a camera!

Tours Offered

Two tours will be available:

  • Parliament Hill Tour

    The Parliament Hill Tour will give you a bird’s eye view of Parliament Hill and downtown Ottawa.

  • Gatineau Hills Tour

    The Gatineau Hills Tour will bring you over Gatineau Park as well as downtown Ottawa and Parliament Hill on the way back.

General Information

The helicopter, operated by Héli-Tremblant, will offer flights daily from the Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The aircraft seats up to three passengers at a time.
