Aircraft

It’s no surprise that the aircraft collection is the most visible component of the Museum’s holdings. This remarkable collection covers aviation developments, in peace and war, in Canada and abroad, from the earliest days of flight to the present. With approximately 130 aircraft under its wing, the Museum has the best collection in the country and one of the most representative in the world.

The aircraft in this list are arranged alphabetically according to their manufacturer’s name and then by model. For example, deHavilland Beaver is found under deHavilland.

By Period

Aircraft in this list are arranged according to the year during which the aircraft first went into service.
