Shared Services Canada launches GEDS 2.0 – new technology to support a modern workplaceMarch 25, 2015 - Ottawa - Shared Services Canada - Shared Services Canada (SSC) is taking a leadership role in delivering on the Destination 2020 action plan by developing “new technologies to support a modern workplace.” GEDS 2.0 is an enhanced version of the Government Electronic Directory Services (GEDS), which gives public servants, business interests and Canadians a convenient way to contact Government of Canada employees. SSC has made a commitment to a culture that embraces innovation, transformation and continuous improvement, and GEDS 2.0 is a concrete demonstration of that culture in action.
The updated GEDS 2.0 has an improved search function and infrastructure that will make it easier to find and connect with people and the departments they represent.
