I enjoyed "bicycles vs cars" debate. I suggest we all try putting ourselves in the others' shoes (or pedals in this case).

Best part of for me...picking cycling songs for our talking PT - here's the playlist : -

jerks are just as capable to ride bikes as drive cars. Everyone can do better.

in Idaho stop signs are yield to bikes. Breaking the rules keeps traffic moving. More bikes, less cars=less congestion

Overall, I think there's too much "us vs them" mentality here as well as senses of entitlement on both sides.

    Llllooove the Flobots plug!

This is gold! Great perspective on how we all cheat, and that our cities are not built for bikes.

No simple answer. Cyclists ignore laws and drivers get frustrated. Cyclists frustrate me more on my commute to work.

I personally have very few issues with cars when I ride. Others seem to have issues daily. Not sure why the difference.

I really dislike cyclists on the road. They don't use the bike lanes cause they are always full of dirt/gravel

I'm in right now-makes you realize how far behind is. It's not cars vs bikes here - just ppl moving from A to B.

not at all. Dozy and distracted drivers on one hand, cyclists who don't obey road rules on the other

  13. retweeted

I think there is an "us vs. Them" attitude.

  14. retweeted

the same could be said about drivers. People are people regardless of transport choices.

  15. retweeted

Why Do Cyclists Break the Rules? The safest cities for both cars and bikes have the most cyclists.

  16. retweeted

Drivers and cyclists break the rules at exactly the same prevalence.

I'm a cyclist. Most cyclists are utter morons and don't know how to ride safely. There shld be a rider's test

  18. retweeted

i wonder, do drivers who r so annoyed by cyclists ever ride? and vice versa...

  19. retweeted

I'll agree when I can ride a foot off the curb without vans passing a foot away from handlebars

it is getting worse. when cyclists are on roads, they need to obey just like drivers do!
