Ontario mom thanks unnamed skateboarder for helping her daughter, Oct. 22
My experience as a mother was very similar to Jeanean Thomas.
Both my sons loved skateboarding and we made innumerable trips to skate parks throughout the GTA. My initial trepidation at them mixing with older boys was quickly dispelled as I saw the more experienced boarders make time to stop and help my sons, and applaud their efforts.
I am a big fan of the skateboarding community — goal-oriented while being both supportive and cooperative. A great model for sport — and life!
