"Contact intended to cause feelings of intimidation"[edit]
"feelings of intimidation" should be removed as that would fall under the definition of "emotional abuse" or "psychological abuse". The word "intimidation" does not correspond to any physical pressure-point, it is a mental pressure-point and therefore the modified text: "Contact intended to cause feelings of physical pain" would be a better suited definition in the realm of the physical as opposed to mental and would correspond to the word "physical" in the title "Physical Abuse".
Stop throwing everything you've seen on TV-shows in this article! Physical abuse is NOT the same as assault, sexual abuse, murder or battery. Also, adding controvercial items, like spanking or whipping, is no good for an encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not a place to prove a theory or promote your views. Nomad (talk) 01:17, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
