Dr. Shariaty college is the biggest public all purpose college in Iran that offers associate's and bachelor's degrees and graduate degrees to both women and men. It is located in the southern parts of Tehran, Khani Abad, on the northern edge of the Azadegan bypass.

History[edit]

Founded in 1982 as an undergraduate college, Shariaty introduced its first graduate programs in the 1990s. Since that time, Shariaty has earned a national reputation based on work in fields such as electronic, computer science, Architecture, Art, fashion and education.[citation needed] It offers 20 graduate degree and certificate programs to approximately 2200 coed graduate students annually.
