An Ethiopian Canadian is a Canadian citizen of Ethiopian descent or an Ethiopia-born person who resides in Canada. According to the 2011 National Household Survey, 30,810 people reported Ethiopian ancestry. Of those, 24,535 were born in Ethiopia and 6,595 were recent immigrants.[1]
