Division No. 5 is a census division in Alberta, Canada. It is located in the north-central portion of southern Alberta and its largest urban community is the Town of Strathmore.

In 2006, Division No. 5 had a population of 51,104 living in 19,205 dwellings, a 7.3% increase from 2001. The census division has a land area of 16,775.16 km2 (6,476.93 sq mi) and a population density of 3.0 inhabitants per square kilometre.[4]
