Chandra Arya (born c. 1963) is a Canadian Liberal politician, who was elected to represent the riding of Nepean in the House of Commons of Canada in the 2015 federal election.[1][2][3]
Arya worked with a corporate investor whose objective was to promote new industrial companies. He also was with an organization as senior expert for industrial investment promotion. He has served on the boards of several not-for-profit and charitable organizations including OCISO Not For Profit Housing Corporation, Ottawa Community Immigrants Services Organization and Hindu Society of Ottawa-Carleton. He is the Past Chair of the Indo-Canada Ottawa Business Chamber and Past President of the Indo-Canadian Community Centre Inc.
Chandra Arya received the designation as Canadian Investment Manager from the Canadian Securities Institute in 2006. He obtained an MBA from the Kousali Institute of Management Studies, Karnatak University, India and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from Bangalore University, India.
