races[edit]

Prehaps we should add the different races to this template. Yahel Guhan 08:22, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

I removed them. We cannot categorize peoples according to the various and marginal views of others. cygnis insignis 09:40, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Race is categorization, and it makes no sense to have a race template that doesn't mention the categorization by races, no matter how marginal the categorization is. The articles do exist after all. They should be mentioned for that reason. Yahel Guhan 04:51, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
IMO, race is an ongoing study and it was almost taboo for Science after many racist-fueled wars... because of this, currently there's no widely accepted races. This template is more to inform readers of this ongoing debate.--Esteban Barahona (talk) 03:07, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Race and intelligence[edit]

Appears twice. One should be deleted. Richard001 (talk) 09:22, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Edit request on 8 April 2012[edit]

The first section has zero references. Please add an accurate source or remove that section. 173.121.87.174 (talk) 20:36, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Not done: You requesting a change on the navigation template Template:Race and not on an article. Please repeat your question on the correct talk page. Regards, mabdul 13:01, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

It's probably best to do without images on such a general-purpose template.[edit]

General navigation templates such as this one are best kept as lists of wikilinks, without additional images. This is especially true for a topic such as the topic of this template, about which reliable sources make clear that as the scientific understanding of the topic has developed, many images associated with the topic are no longer considered representative or data-based. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 16:28, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

Who is ready to discuss template edits with sources, considering the navigation purposes of this template?[edit]

I see there have been a bunch of edits to this template recently. Who is ready to join discussion here on the template talk page of what links belong on the template, what the template is for, and any other issues? We should refer to reliable sources and Wikipedia policies and guidelines to resolve any editor disagreements about what to do. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 21:39, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
